The Gun Show

There was a gun show that came to town. The show was a special exclusive one, only for killers of humans. Some of us were worried. We called our Councilman, but his hands were tied in knots. Reservations had been made many years in advance. We did what we could but weeks ahead we felt nervous, watching the schoolchildren squirm with excitement. They begged their parents to take them. They threw tantrums, threatened to run away. They made secret plans to sneak in the back.
