This is an uncut proof of a poem my great, great aunt wrote for The Twelfth Night (Epiphany) in 1908 and originally self-published at her small press, where she also gave elocution lessons. The press was located in her home at 342 East 20th Street (now North Avenue) in Baltimore. The print will be available as an 11×17 inch broadside (for free! a gift!) at several businesses in the area around her old neighborhood (now a part of the Station North Arts and Entertainment District) as well as in a couple other spots in town. Keep an eye out starting next Thursday and leading up to January 5th (The Twelfth Night.)
I will also scan and post a copy of the original 1908 publication here and on Underrated Animals Press’s new Tumblr page (http://underratedanimals.tumblr.com) as well as a few related photos.
