Next Saturday I will be participating in a dramatic table read of a play by actor-writer Charlie Scalies (you may know him from the second season of HBO’s The Wire, where he played “Horseface”) as part of local newspaper legend/former The Wire writer Rafael Alvarez’s 6th annual Christmas shindig at 2pm at the Highlandtown branch of the Enoch Pratt Library, here in Baltimore at the corner of Eastern Avenue and Conkling Street.
